The Watershed Festival is quickly approaching! The festival date is August 12th, from 9am - 1pm at Women's Park.

Part of the Summer Walk Series: Come practice your observation skills and be a naturalist for an hour at the Prickly Pear Fishing Access Site!
Join the Helena CORE crew on the back lawn of Montana Wild - FWP on June 8th from 5:30 to 7:00pm. Helena CORE members will be available to talk about the walks they will be leading in the summer walk series. There will be activities for all ages including bear spray demonstrations, a rolling rivers trailer, scat identification, prizes and more. Celebrate Spooky Season and clean up our watershed! There will be a costume contest*, prizes, and a celebration afterward at Lakeside on Hauser. See you there!
*Costumes are optional and safety vests will be required
The 2022 Watershed Festival’s theme is “Recharge” to energize the festival’s return after two years! Learn about water quality conservation methods, participate in fun activities and demonstrations, and celebrate your local watershed!
Join the LHWG on its annual Earth Day cleanup of its adopted stretch of York Road. This year we will host the cleanup on Saturday (the day after Earth Day). Meet at Chadwick's Nursery at 9:45 am to receive bags, vests, and directions. Bring gloves, and spread the word!

Join us for our annual celebration as we look back at accomplishments in ‘21 and a preview of events and projects in ‘22 and beyond.
A panel discussion involving city, county, state, and other local water management organizations will be featured. Topics include water availability, drought, flooding, valley development, agriculture, and recreation with our Lake Helena watershed. Bring your questions for the panel and get ready to have a good time!
