Dear Helena Community,

REMINDER:  Resilient Helena 'Learn and Act' Series

ENVISIONING 100% CLEAN ELECTRICITY IN HELENA BY 2030

Tuesday, December 10th from 6:30 - 8 pm
Plymouth Church (Oakes and Winne), lower level

Climate science experts and the IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change) have given us until 2030 to make significant progress on climate change - that's just a bit more than 10 years!

At this meeting on the 10th, we’ll have Brian Fadie-MEIC, Caitlyn Piserchia-Sierra Club, Matt Treaster-DSA, and the Resilient Helena team lead us in a discussion about setting this ‘Ready for 100’ clean electricity goal for Helena.

https://www.sierraclub.org/ready-for-100

We are inviting you to join us in this discussion and share your vision, ideas, and help us identify the next critical steps to achieve this goal.

Feel free to tell others and bring a friend or two.

We'll have treats and hot cocoa - please BYOM (bring your own mug).

In case you missed it - awesome news re: rooftop solar - thank you to all who stood up for solar!

As national efforts are lacking, it's even more important to step up locally - like the Fridays for Future rally led by students from Helena High School and Capital High School Green Groups!

See you Tuesday!

Onward!

The Resilient Helena Team,
Diana Hammer, Kathy and Mark Juedeman, Kyla Maki, Max Milton, and Makenna Sellers,
